| We can't think of many more compelling reasons to help a child than the fact that child poverty exists. Left with no other alternative, many Ethiopian children beg for a living, simply to have food to eat each night. The most desperate of situations can even lead children to prostitution. "Making a difference" seems like such a cliched phrase, but it's not that hard to do. Take action today.
Currently, KHNK supports 35 children in Addis Ababa, and sends care packages to the 65 children of the Yesewasew Genet Orphanage in Debre Libanos, Ethiopia. Unfortunately, there is a waiting list to be sponsored by KHNK, but we are always looking to reduce the number of children waiting for a sponsor.
