What Is A Sponsorship?
Sponsor a child today.

A sponsorship under KHNK is a one-on-one relationship between a sponsor here in America and a needy child in Ethiopia. The role of the sponsor is to offer encouragement to a needy child, often one living in a difficult situation. This is best offered through letters; sponsors are expected and encouraged to write often to their sponsor child.

Once you have expressed interest in joining with KHNK, our organization will select one needy Ethiopian child for you. (For more information on our selection process of the children, please review our Bylaws—see tab labeled “KHNK Information”). After making their first payment, sponsors will receive a handmade profile with their child’s name, age, picture (when available), and a short profile explaining the child’s circumstances.

The cost of a sponsorship is $8.00 a month, which can be paid in increments of $24.00 (every 3 months), one $50.00 payment twice a year, or $100.00 paid all at once for the entire year. Checks can be made out to “Kids Helping Needy Kids”. Payments can also be made online using PayPal. PayPal is a fast, easy, and secured method of making online payments. All donations/sponsorship payments to Kids Helping Needy Kids are tax deductible.

For those not ready for the commitment of sponsorship but who would like to offer assistance, KHNK gratefully accepts monetary one-time donations. No amount is too small. Generally, the money from one-time donors, combined with the proceeds of fundraisers, cover the costs of mailing care packages to Ethiopia.
